The pilot edition of Cooperative Campus in Finland ended in May 2021. Ten participants started the program. The participants were mainly business and IT students from Lapland University of Applied Sciences (https://www.lapinamk.fi/en). Six of the participants created business ideas and business plans both in groups and independently. Finally, in the practical stage, three participants worked in the local cooperatives and tried their business ideas in practice. They found few customers and sold their products and services!
Working in the real markets was inspiring and students learned a lot. In the beginning they didn´t know much about the cooperatives so learning and understanding the cooperative business model in general was the main goal in the pilot program.
Below you can see the feelings and feedback from the participants in Cooperative Campus Finland.
